Our family has owned Graciosa Byron Bay for two decades and in that time we’ve overseen its transformation from the place our children were raised to an experience we now share with our guests who come from far and wide to make their own memories here. Graciosa is named after the island in Portugal where our ancestors originated, settling generations ago in the Northern Rivers. We honour the past while looking to the future and reveling in the now, grateful to be living and working with the rich soil of the Byron Byron Hinterland.

The home is old-school comfort with a touch of the Hollywood Hills - a layered dose of homely-design - iconic wallpapers mixed with luxurious fabrics, French linens and crisp cottons. All the scents and textures to ensure you unwind and enjoy a one of a kind experience.

The garden is a sensory delight, filled with palms that sway in the afternoon breeze, camellia, magnolia, rosemary, lavender, roses, bougainvillea, jasmine, citrus and natives. All the bird and bee loving varieties; medicinals and the sweetest of scents.

Our small and seasonal flower field and produce gardens provide the ingredients for a truly memorable stay. We grow dahlias and zinnias galore in the summer and delphiniums and ranunculus in the winter. Whether you’re sharing time with family and friends or looking for solitude to pen your first novel, we hope that Graciosa is a sympathetic and inspirational backdrop.
